FAQs

We are based out of Second Chance House at Selim Hill Tea Garden. Selim Hill is a 1,000 acre heritage tea estate bordering the town of Kurseong. Established in 1871, tea is grown at an altitude of 500-4,000ft.

We have partnered with the Selim Hill Collective to create community welfare measures such as waste management programs, afforestation campaigns, and community education initiatives. We ensure our team of pluckers, sorting artisans, and factory workers are paid a fair wage.

Before each packet of tea leaves our factory, we roast it once again to ensure that only the best quality tea reaches you. From our factory, it’s dispatched directly to your homes. We guarantee that when you buy from our websites, there are no middlemen involved. This means, it reaches you within 5-10 days of dispatch from Darjeeling.

Selim Hill Tea Garden was one of the pioneers of the organic movement in Darjeeling. We have been a certified organic estate since the early 2000s. Selim Hill is also Rainforest Certified, and undertakes large scale afforestation through the Selim Hill Collective.
