Section 1 of the Upper Division is referred to as Gitanjali. Community members refer to it as so because Rabindranath Tagore used to visit it often.

From Section 3 you can catch a glimpse of the Teesta River as well as the Mecchi River.
Section 4

This is one of the biggest Sections in the Upper Division which has a number of hardwood trees and rich diversity of birds.

Section 6 - Makaibari

Section 6 is known as Makaibari Section because it overlooks Makaibari Tea Estate on the other side.

Section 7 is known for being on the side of the hill that gets great sunshine as well as a bountiful rainfall every season.
Section 8

This is the most difficult Section to get to in the Upper Division, and has to be approached through the old Rohini Road that leads up to Darjeeling.
Section 9 - SK's Bounty

This Section contains tea saplings gifted to Selim Hill by Rajah Banerjee (actual name Swaraj Kumar Banerjee). Hence the name SK's Bounty.
Section 10

Section 10 is where the Bend is. You get a 360 degree view of the entire Upper Division.
Section 11

Last year, we began our harvest from Section 11 inside the Upper Division.
Section 12

Section 12 leads up to the Factory and has a beautiful Mulberry Avenue.
Section 13

This is where the Heritage Tea Factory is located.
Section 14

This is the highest Section within Selim Hill Tea Garden perched at 4,000 ft.
Section 15 - Second Chance

This is where Second Chance House is located within Selim Hill.
Section 16 - Shanta Bhawan

In this Section, the Missionaries of Charity run an orphanage for underprivileged children.
Section 1

Nestled inside the Selim Hill Forest, Section 1 is where the Lower Division of the Garden begins.
Section 2 - Collection Centre

This is where the daily pluckings are collected before they are sent up to the Upper Division of the Tea Estate.
Section 3

Right below the Collection Centre, this is a hotspot for peacocks.
Section 4 - Nayakaman

During the Monsoon Seasons, a beautiful riverlet begins flowing through this section.
Section 5 - Hongrayo

This Section is famous for spottings of hornbills referred to in Nepali as 'hongrayo.'
Section 6

This Section overlooks the valley, and is the farthest point to which the elephants can come up.
Section 7 - Andheri

The toughest hike within the tea garden, this is the most special Section we have. Tea grows here in the company of elephants.
Section 8 - Rohini

This Section is the lowest part of the tea garden and meets the Rohini Road going to Darjeeling.
Section 9 - Meethedhare

The Old Tindharia Highschool along with a 200 year old Banyan Tree are located in this Section.
Section 10 - Bachabari

The most recently planted of all the Sections, it is referred to as Bachabari or "new nurseries."
